Recently, we had the unfortunate luck to experience a flood in our basement. Although we found the source quickly and stopped the water before it got too far, it still did enough damage to need several inches of new drywall and entirely new flooring throughout. Going through a flood is extremely stressful, and we had heard several horrible stories of restoration companies taking months to complete work and having less than quality workers on the jobs.
